Community is a phenomenal thing. I’m particularly grateful for the Kerith community. I’m grateful for the Cottees, who made me dinner on Tuesday when I didn’t have time to get home before the next meeting. I’m grateful for Mike Owen who came to my house to look at our broken shower and for Robin and Debbie Findlay, who have welcomed me into their home at stupidly early hours in the morning (for me, at least) to have a shower at their house while we wait for the aforementioned shower to be fixed.
If it wasn’t for a fantastic community of people around me, this week would have been a tough one. People may criticise the church for many things, but one thing that I refuse to accept (at least, as far as Kerith is concerned) is its wonderful sense of community. Thank you!
